Although some might see these drawings as pure illustrations, I’m considering them a valuable drawings and my own little color experiment.
I hope you like these drawings and the play between the Red & Blue. -

Here are two more drawings that I made some time ago, and that belong to the Red & Blue series. Since I’ve already posted some drawings from that series, I decided to update that gallery.

Dusk – Dawn
September 22, 2012
This drawing was made using only (mechanical) pencil and color pencils. The knowledge
of geography and old cultures was very important for creating this piece, and it’s visually implemented into this drawing, though not too obvious. -
Blue & Red

This series was inspired by old cartoons from the early 20s. These’re my own characters in blue and red drawn with markers on withe paper.

Disco baby
April 4, 2012
Having finished “Damn you” and “Graveyard dudes” I decided to draw something with similar aesthetics and ended up drawing “Disco baby”, and exploring the atmosphere of dark and smoky disco toilets. By introducing golden details I tried to subdue the tense feeling of unease created by the blackness of the tiles and the white character lurking in the corner.
I drew my inspiration all the way from Chupa Chups Caps to Max Fleischer’s old school cartoons. It all fell in place in my head anyway. -
Graveyard dudes / Damn you
March 14, 2012
I’ve continued working on a new drawings. This time I’ve used only black markers, unlike in my previews works such as No Way Dude and Zombie Girlfriend, where I’ve used colored markers as well. This new drawings remind me of some old school cartoons, and I must say I really like that. My sketchbook is rapidly getting filled up with new sketches.
